63. Haiku

In today's class I wrote my attendance haiku about confidence. Confidence is something I used to really struggle with as a kid. Honestly until only a couple of years ago, I still really struggled it and would've called it my biggest obstacle. Today I proudly acknowledge how much I have grown and changed as a person in incredible ways. It's taken me years to gain more confidence and I guarantee it's going to be something I will have to keep working on my entire life, and I'm okay with that. I believe confidence is the key to life and success. I just do. I realize how difficult it made my life in the past and how it's something that really separates the successful from the not successful individuals in our world. By success, I'm not necessarily talking about "wealth", but I'm talking more about success in life in broader terms. In my opinion, success can mean a multitude of things. I sometimes forget how far I've come in terms of self-confidence and I need to remember to give myself credit for it.
